In the world of cord-cutting and streaming, it's difficult to know where you can watch your favorite Texas college football team on Saturday. Here's a Texas-centric TV guide, and watchability ranking, so you can spend less time finding that gosh-darned channel and more time watching football.

Note: UTEP is on bye.

1. No.7 Texas at TCU (6:30 p.m., ABC)

The Longhorns are the state's sole hope for a College Football Playoff berth, and they're facing the program which reached that mountaintop just last year. Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers is back in the starting lineup after Maalik Murphy eked a win out against Kansas State last week.  TCU has crashed back down to earth in Year Two of the Sonny Dykes era, but Dykes is seeking to extend his unbeaten streak against Texas to 4–0. Texas may be the favorite on Saturday, but TCU boasts an 8–3 record over them as a fellow Big 12 team.

Prediction: Texas 27, TCU 17. Quinn Ewers settles in after a rough first quarter. TCU scores a touchdown at the end to make it respectable.

2. Texas Tech at No.16 Kansas (11 a.m., FS1)

Texas Tech should be fresh coming off a mini-bye and a win against TCU, but how will they fare in enemy territory without their viral opossum? Sitting at 4–5 on the year, the Red Raiders are counting on a win next week against UCF, but need an upset victory over either Kansas on Saturday or Texas to close out the season. A loss this weekend, and Joey McGuire's team is in danger of taking a step back from a positive first season in 2022.

Prediction: Kansas 38, Texas Tech 27. This ain't your father's Kansas, and Texas Tech isn't good enough on the road to take them down.

3. SMU vs. North Texas (Friday 8 p.m., ESPN2)

This will be the final installment of the 'Safeway Bowl' for now, a game which North Texas has considered a regional rivalry and SMU has considered a convenient opponent. SMU is now the betting favorite to win the American Athletic Conference and go to a New Year's Six bowl, but the Mean Green has an opportunity to swipe their big brother's chair from under them as they're looking to ride high into the ACC.

Prediction: SMU 42, North Texas 38. SMU's offense doesn't miss a beat with South Oak Cliff alum Kevin Jennings at the helm.

4. Texas A&M vs. Mississippi State (6:30 p.m., ESPN2)

Texas A&M, at 5–4, is a program stuck in neutral right now under Jimbo Fisher. With each disappointing loss to a top-25 SEC opponent, eyes keep lingering on his hefty buyout. Mississippi State, on the other hand, is a far inferior opponent, which puts the Aggies in an unenviable position. Win, and it's what you're supposed to do. Lose, and holy moly we need to have a talk.

Prediction: Texas A&M 30, Mississippi State 13. Cool.

5. Texas State at Coastal Carolina (2:30 p.m., ESPN+)

This game would be a lot more interesting if Coastal Carolina legend Grayson McCall was for sure going to play. The Texas State program is buzzing and probably still soaking wet from jumping in the river after becoming bowl eligible in G.J. Kinne's first season. Will they come out sleepy from their celebration, or will they refocus and take care of business?

Prediction: Coastal Carolina 31, Texas State 24. The Bobcats come out sluggish and can't overcome it late.

6. Rice at UTSA (6:30 p.m., ESPNU)

Rice head coach Mike Bloomgren announced quarterback JT Daniels was doubtful with a concussion, and the line for this game immediately shifted from UTSA -9 to UTSA -16.5. That's indicative of how reliant Rice has been on stellar QB play this season to mask some issues, and they could potentially be exposed on Saturday. UTSA is 24–3 in conference play under head coach Jeff Traylor.

Prediction: UTSA 42, Rice 20. Rice's offense goes into neutral while UTSA's hits the nitrus.

7. Houston vs. Cincinnati (6 p.m., FS1)

After an overtime win against Baylor, Houston needs two wins in its final three games to go bowling in its first year as a Big 12 team. Next week is Oklahoma State, which means Saturday against hapless Cincinnati is a must-win.

Prediction: Houston 27, Cincinnati 23. It'll be interesting to see which gets more viewers this Saturday - Houston football or basketball.

8. Baylor at Kansas State (2 p.m., Big 12 Network/ESPN+)

Baylor, according to Dave Aranda, was a sad and broken locker room after the Houston loss. Now we'll see how they feel after traveling into Manhatten to face a pissed off Kansas State team. It's been a rough year in Waco. Basketball season couldn't come soon enough.

Prediction: Kansas State 30, Baylor 24. Baylor makes this game way closer than anyone could imagine.

9. Sam Houston at Louisiana Tech (2 p.m., ESPN+)

Sam Houston got the monkey off its back with a win last week over Kennesaw State. Now they have a chance to start a win streak against a 3–7 Louisiana Tech team. Will they?

Prediction: Sam Houston 21, Louisiana Tech 10. They will!
