McBride holds a 58-22 record in seven seasons as a head coach at Frisco Liberty, Coppell and Dripping Springs.

Notes: DeAtley resigned shortly at the end of the 2018 season; he spent 18 seasons at Brazoswood. His best season was 2009 when he posted a 10-4 record and led the Bucs to the Regional Finals. Wichita Falls Hirschi HC Danny Youngs hired on February 11.

Last Year's Record: 7-3
Notes: Thiebaud announces his retirement on January 8 after 42 years in education, he's the only head coach the school has known he posted an 82-20 record in 15 years at Cy Ridge. In 19 overall years as a head coach, at Lindale, Dallas Hillcrest and Cy Ridge, Thiebaud posted a 105-96-2 record.
Del Rio Rams

Notes: McCrea, a Del Rio alum was reassigned after six seasons he posted a 32-34 record with his best season being a 10-2 record in 2016. Del Rio hires Hutchinson CC OC Rod Taylor on January 11.

Notes: Robinson steps down at DeSoto after just one season; he will move into a role as assistant athletic director. DeSoto will be on their fourth head coach in the past six seasons in 2019. Marshall HC Claude Mathis returns to DeSoto on January 14, he spent two years at SMU as an assistant and two seasons at Marshall his four years away from DeSoto. He led the Eagles to a 74-18 in record in seven years there from 2008-2014.

Notes: Smith steps down after three seasons at Leander and a 4-26 record. Growth in Leander ISD in recent years has cut into the LHS depth and talent pool. Keller DC Kris Price hired on January 24 for his first head coaching job.

Notes: Smith, who had a succesful stint at Lake Highlands was unable to end Plano West's struggles winning just four games in four seasons. Plano West is currently mired in a 26 game losing streak.

Last Year's Record: 3-7
Notes: Moss announces his retirement on December 12; he led Heath for eleven seasons posting an 80-45 record, with his best year being a 13-1 mark in 2008. Moss spent 21 years as a head coach at Austin High, South Garland and Rockwall-Heath posting a career mark of 145-91. RISD hires Magnolia ISD AD Mike Spradlin on January 22, Spradlin has a 109-64 record in 15 years as a head coach at Navasota, Round Rock Westwood, Abilene Cooper and Temple. He led Temple to a state title game in 2014.
Socorro Bulldogs

Last Year's Record: 0-10
Notes: Graham, who turned El Paso Burges around didn't replicate that success at Socorro and he stepped down after three years. Socorro is mired in the state's longest losing streak at 37 games.

Notes: Ragsdale departs South Garland after three seasons, prior to his tenure at SGHS he led Dallas Adamson to a pair of playoff appearances. Garland ISD hires Damaso Martinez on January 22, Martinez previously served as campus coordinator at Plano McMillan HS which feeds into Plano East.

Notes: Wood after five incredible seasons leading Aledo to three state titles moves into the athletic director role. Wood led Aledo to a 75-4 record. In steps former HC Tim Buchanan who had been the Aledo AD the past five years. Buchanan led Aledo to five state titles and compiled a 227-52-3 mark in 21 years leading the Bearcats.

Notes: Padilla steps down after ten seasons leading the Bears and posting a 60-48 record. 2013 was his best season as Bowie posted an 8-4 record and earned a playoff win. OC Andres Vale promoted to HFC on January 24.

Notes: Hendrix steps down after four years and an 8-30 record. Assistant Norris Taff promoted on January 22.

Last Year's Record: 9-3
Notes: Hoffman departs Corsicana after six seasons to take over at Buda Johnson; which will play a varsity schedule in 2020. Hoffman posted a 32-31 record in Corsicana. Wasson, a native of nearby Kerens steps in after spending 2018 as Irving ISD AD. Wason has an impressive 239-111-3 record in 30 years as a head coach with stops at Italy, San Saba, Pittsburg, Kerens, Mexia, Liberty Hill, Keller Fossil Ridge and Southlake Carroll. He led Carroll to the 2011 state title.
Crosby Cougars

Notes: Riordan resigns after seven seasons and an impressive 66-18 mark at Crosby. His best season was 2014 when Crosby posted a 13-2 mark and advanced to the state semi-finals.

DC Jeff Harbert promoted on February 4.

Notes: Mahaffey announced his retirement on January 22, he spent 22 years as a head coach compiling a 133-113 record with stops at Bartlett, Kaufman, Wimberley, Rusk and Grapeland. He led Bartlett to the 1990 state champonship.

Notes: Heryford announces his retirement after a 29 year coaching career. He was a HC for 13 years at Del Rio, Tahoka, San Angelo Central and Seagraves and posted an 83-69 record. From 2013-2016 he led Seagraves to three regional final appearances and a state semi-final appearance in 2015. Assistant coach Armando Minjarez promoted over the Christmas break to take over.
