UPDATED: Week 8, 2019

Last Week
1.Baylor Bears
Record: 11 - 1
Notes: The Bears are the undisputed kings of Texas, and are potentially a win away from a New Year's Six bowl.
Last Week: #1
2.SMU Mustangs
Record: 10 - 2
Notes: Despite a loss, the Mustangs are still in the midst of a great season, and can pick up a 10th win on Saturday.
Last Week: #2
3.Texas A&M Aggies
Record: 7 - 5
Notes: The Aggies showed some of the flashes that we've been waiting for against Georgia. Next up: No. 1 LSU.
Last Week: #3
4.Texas Longhorns
Record: 8 - 5
Notes: The Longhorns are just one game above .500 in a season they were supposed to compete for the Big 12. Not ideal!
Last Week: #4
5.TCU Horned Frogs
Record: 5 - 7
Notes: The Horned Frogs gave Oklahoma a scare. They'll be a scary team as Max Duggan keeps getting better.
Last Week: #5
6.Texas Tech Red Raiders
Record: 5 - 7
Notes: The Red Raiders lost their fourth conference game by one score. Eventually, those results will turn.
Last Week: #6
7.Houston Cougars
Record: 4 - 8
Notes: The Cougars capitalized on their opportunity against a lower-level team. Despite the record, this has been a good development year for the Coogs.
Last Week: #7
8.Rice Owls
Record: 3 - 8
Notes: Congrats, Owls. You're out of the proverbial cellar and have a shot at a three-game winning streak against UTEP.
Last Week: #11
9.North Texas Mean Green
Record: 4 - 7
Notes: The Mean Green are in the bottom tier for the first time since 2016. This has been a nightmare end to Mason Fine's stellar career.
Last Week: #8
10.UTSA Roadrunners
Record: 4 - 8
Notes: The Roadrunners have shown real improvement on the football field, even if it won't show up in games against FAU and La Tech to end the year.
Last Week: #9
11.Texas State Bobcats
Record: 3 - 10
Notes: The Bobcats were outclassed by App State – as expected – and now have just one more shot to clear the three-win plateau.
Last Week: #10
12.UTEP Miners
Record: 1 - 11
Notes: Another week, another painful loss for the Miners. UTEP has just one last chance to try and beat an FBS team at home for the first time since 2016.
