2024 Midseason All-Texas College Football Teams
The Dave Campbell's Texas Football Midseason All-Texas College Football teams for the 2024 season are dominated by former Texas high school football stars.
What the Roadrunners lack in years of history, they've made up for with impact. The program launched by hiring a national championship winning coach in Coker for the inaugural 2011 season, and followed him with one of the most exciting young coaches in the country in Frank Wilson. Playing downtown San Antonio, they've garnered a loyal local following, and built a good program with a solid foundation in less than a decade. They reached their first bowl game in 2016, and were bowl eligible in 2017 before controversially being shut out of the bowls. Now, Texas high school football legend Jeff Traylor is leading the program to new heights.
