He led the Warriors to the playoffs 17 straight seasons and eight times Martin won at least ten games.

Notes: Jackson, who started the Grand Oaks program back In 2019 annouced his retirement mid-season. Conroe ISD names Richmond Foster HC Shaun McDowell, the new HFC at GOHS on December 13. McDowell was 86-34 in ten seasons leading Foster.

Last Year's Record: 4-7
Notes: Resendez is reassigned after five seasons at Crowley, he posted a 25-28 record and led the Eagles to the playoffs in their first season in 6A. Resendez has a career record of 79-59 in twelve seasons as a head coach. Former Cedar Hill HC Carlos Lynn named HFC on January 26.
Cypress Bridgeland Bears

Notes: Raffield, who spent nineteen seasons as a head coach at Cy Falls, A&M Consolidated and Bridgeland announces his retirement on January 17. He posted a 142-84 career mark and led Cy Falls to a state title game appearance in 2006.

Notes: Teagle was dismissed from Katy ISD in Oct after accusations and subsequent a charges for filed for misconduct related to female students. Hicks was named interim HC for the final four games of the season and was given the job on a permanent basis on November 30.

Notes: Willis announces his retirement on January 3, he spent thirty years as a coach including fourteen seasons as a head coach with stops at Iraan, Cedar Park, Colleyville Heritage and Tyler Legacy. He retires with a career record of 113-63, he twice led Cedar Park to a state title game and led the Timberwolves to a state title in 2012. Tulsa QB Coach and former Texas QB Beau Trahan hired on January 26.

Notes: Buchanan who led Aledo to eight state titles as a head coach and three as an athletic director announces his retirement on January 27. He posted a 281-57-3 overall record in 25 seasons as Aledo's head coach. OC Robbie Jones named head coach on January 27.

Notes: Kaiser retires after thirteen seasons as a head coach, the last ten at Boene Champion. He has a career record of 92-57, with his best season coming in 2019 when Champion posted a 13-2 record and advanced to the 5A-Division II semifinals. DC Blane Ellis hired as HFC on December 13.

Notes: Lorance, a long-time assistant in the DFW area announced his retirement shortly after the end of the regular season. In six seasons leading Bryan Adams he posted a 26-37 overall record. He led the Cougars to the area playoffs in 2017 and he also spent time as a head coach at Crystal City and Mineola. DC Carl Robinson promoted to HFC on Feb. 6

Notes: Gonzalez announced his retirement in November, he spent twenty seasons as a head coach with a 101-108 record with stops at Corpus Christi Ray, Cypress Springs and Victoria East. He spent the last eleven seasons at Victoria East with his best season coming in 2016 when he led East to a 10-4 record and a trip to the regional finals. Victoria ISD names New Caney OC Charlie Reeve as HFC on January 19.

Falfurrias names Premont DC Arturo Garcia HFC on January 26, this is his secons stint at Falfurrias serving as the Jerseys HFC from 2005-2009.

He won a state title in 2003 in Garrison. His son Cash Thompson will be the successor as AD/HFC at Dawson.
