Notes: Dodge, retires after a legendary career where he posted seven state titles, including three straight at Westlake to end his career. His career record ends up 233-72, with four state titles at Southlake Carroll to go along wiht the three at Westlake. He coached in a total of nine state title games. Longtime defensive coordinator Tony Salazar promoted to HFC on January 13. Salazar is considered one of the top defensive minds in Texas.

Notes: Rogers, a legend in Central Texas retires after 36 seasons as a head coach, he posted a 260-150-9 overall record and won a state title in 1991 at A&M Consolidated. He spent time as a head coach at Hempstead, Waller, Giddings, A&M Consolidated, Harker Heights and Bryan. Bryan ISD names Pearland HC Ricky Tullos HFC on January 18, Tullos has a career record of 116-46 with stops at Cleveland, Richmond George Ranch and Pearland. He led George Ranch to a state title in 2015.

Notes: Williams was dismissed after a 2-5 start in his third season at the helm. Judson had their first losing season since 1976 in 2021. Judson alum and former San Marcos and San Antonio Johnson HC Mark Soto hired on December 16.

Notes: Hammett resigns his post at Copperas Cove after two seasons where the Bulldawgs won just one game in each year. Cove names Dallas White HC Tony Johnson the new HFC on February 21, Johnson led the Longhorns to their first back-to-back playoff appearances in over forty years in 2020 and 2021.
