2024 All-Texas College Football Teams
The All-Texas College Football Teams for the 2024 season include at least one player from each of our 13 FBS programs. Texas, SMU lead the way.
Texas State has been playing football since 1904, when it was known as Southwest Texas State Normal School. It's grown to become the fifth-largest university in the state, but the football program still has some growing to do, having only joined the FBS ranks in 2012. The Bobcats' peak as a program came under Wacker when Texas State won back-to-back Division II national championships in 1981 and 82.
