A solid debut season under Sean McAufflie saw Cy Ranch make an area round run with the Mustangs returning 14 starters in total. Jeff Miller's first season at the helm following the retirement of Ed Pustejovsky still has high expectations with Cy-Fair coming off an 11-1 mark in 2019.

7:30 p.m.
Stream Link

The first big test of 2020 for both teams and Carthage hasn't played in almost roughly a month thanks to cancellations. Gilmer's gotten away with a few close victories but a team like the defending 4A DI champions won't leave room for slip-ups.

5A DII No. 1 Ennis at 5A DI No. 9 Red Oak

The best matchup in in 5A this weekend puts these two DFW programs with high expectations against one another. Ennis is primed for a legitimate run at a state title in Sam Harrell's third season back on the sidelines, could this be a return to glory for the Lions or will first-year Red Oak head coach Michael Quintero put a stop to the hype train early?
