2024 RB Jaylen Boardley (6'0, 190) - Texarkana Pleasant Grove: Will be one of the most physically imposing prospects. Boardley already has in-state offers from Baylor, Houston, North Texas, SMU, Texas Tech and UTSA. Keep an eye on some of his teammates like Lance Jackson (2025) and Ahkari Johnson (2024). 

2024 ATH Aeryn "Bubba" Hampton (5'10, 175) - Daingerfield: The DCTF four-star is already verbally committed to play at Texas. He is a two-way standout who is considered one of the top cornerback recruits nationally. 

2024 WR Drelon Miller (6'2, 195) Silsbee: Miller is considered one of the state's most-coveted 2024 prospects and already has early offers from schools like Baylor, Texas, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Oregon

2024 WR Jadon Porter (6'0, 170) - Lorena: The Baylor commitment helped lead his team to a state title win back in December, and is the type of talent who could dominate in the 7v7 setting. Could Lorena win it all this weekend?

2023 S Jamaal Shaw (6'1, 180) - West Orange-Stark: Shaw is a very fluid safety prospect who passes the eyeball test. He holds offers from schools like Baylor, Houston, TCU, Texas and Oregon. 

Ten Prospects to Watch in Division I

2023 WR Johntay Cook II (6'0, 170) - DeSoto: One of the top five prospects in the 2023 class, Cook could be the next in-state player bumped to five-star status. He has taken official visits to Michigan, Oregon and Ole Miss, and still has Texas and Texas A&M on his top schools list.

2023 WR Jaden Greathouse (6'2, 205) - Austin Westlake: The three-time state champion is also one of the state's most dominant 7-on-7 talents. Greathouse is seriously considering offers from Texas and Notre Dame among others. 

2023 WR Jalen Hale (6'2, 175) - Longview: The No. 6 overall prospect in the DCTF Hot 100 is a mismatch nightmare. Hale is considering offers from schools like Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and USC. 

2023 ATH Mikal Harrison-Pilot (6'0, 190) - Temple: Harrison-Pilot had previously scheduled an official visit to California for this weekend, but will he be in College Station instead? He has a top five of Houston, TCU, Texas, California and Oklahoma. 

2024 RB Bryan Jackson (6'0, 225) - McKinney: Jackson is a bruising running back in the pads who has already secured 29 scholarship offers. 7-on-7 will give him a chance to showcase versatility. He is already a DCTF four-star.

2024 QB DJ Lagway (6'2, 215) - Willis: Lagway is making his case to be the No. 1 rated prospect in the Lone Star State in the 2024 cycle. He has a powerful arm, is a good all-around athlete, and holds offers from the nation's most prestigious programs. 

2024 QB Mabrey Mettauer (6'5, 215) - The Woodlands: The 2024 class has a lot of talent at the quarterback position and Mettauer will make a case as the best of the bunch. He is big, strong, and accurate. 

2023 WR Ryan Niblett (5'10, 170) - Aldine Eisenhower: Defenders will have a tough assignment trying to slow down this electric wide receiver prospect. The DCTF four-star is committed to Texas. 

2023 QB Austin Novosad (6'3, 185) - Dripping Springs: Novosad is on four-star watch. The No. 51 player in the state is committed to Baylor, but took a recent official visit to Ohio State.  

2023 ATH Samuel Omisgho (6'1, 210) - Crandall: A two-way talent who is considering elite offers like SMU, TCU, Oklahoma and Florida. What position fits him best in college? The State 7-on-7 will give us another chance to evaluate his skill set.
