The crew loads up the DCTF Swag Wagon weekly and travels around the state to watch top prospects play in top games.

Name: Dakorien Moore | School: Duncanville | Class: 2025 | Pos: WR | HT: 5'11 | WT: 175

Breakdown: The Panthers did not have a lot of success throwing the football, but that fact did not mask Moore's ability. He was pitted against 2023 Ohio State commit Calvin Simpson-Hunt, and he was able to get open deep down the field on multiple occasions. He also showcased his ability and willingness as a blocker. What we really loved about his game was his overall passion. He gets out of the blocks with purpose and plays fast every snap. It is easy to see why he already has over 20 scholarship offers and is considered one of the best in the nation.

Name: Benjamin Whitfield-Taylor | School: Duncanville | Class: 2023 | Pos: OT | HT: 6'5 | WT: 270

Breakdown: Not a lot was known about Whitfield-Taylor at the time he made his commitment to TCU at the end of June, so we were excited to see him work versus a top-end Waxahachie defense, and he was the most consistent performer up front. He is a long-armed offensive tackle prospect who has the frame to add and hold a lot more weight once he gets into a college strength and conditioning program. The Horned Frogs are getting an OT with developmental upside.

Name: Colin Simmons | School: Duncanville | Class: 2024 | Pos: DE | HT: 6'3 | WT: 225

Breakdown: We are doubling down on the K'Lavon Chaisson comparison from our week one notebook. Simmons is a terror off the edge. He displayed a relentless motor versus Waxahachie, cementing his status as a five-star prospect in the 2024 cycle.

Name: Jermy Jackson | School: Waxahachie | Class: 2024 | Pos: DE | HT: 6'2 | WT: 195

Breakdown: Jackson is an interesting recruit who could be on the verge of picking up a lot of major attention on the recruiting trail. He already has offers from in-state schools like Houston, SMU, Texas Tech and UTSA. Playing DE, Jackson was a constant in the Duncanville backfield, haunting the quarterback for three or four sacks. He is a disruptive EDGE defender with long arms.
