Rockwall 2024 RB Ashten Emory (5'11, 190) picked up a G5 offer from Eastern Michigan following a tremendous senior season.
Emory also has offers from Bowling Green, South Dakota State, McNeese State, Southern Illinois, Austin Peay and more.
This season, Emory rushed for 2,022 yards and 26 touchdowns.
Commit of the Week
Tyler 2024 ATH Derrick McFall (5'11, 185) committed to SMU.
McFall is rated as a DCTF three-star prospect, checking in as the No. 4 ATH prospect in 2024.
Underclassman of the Week
Timpson 2025 ATH JJ Garner (5'11, 180) had an amazing game in the Bears' 68-7 win over Honey Grove.
Garner rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns, had five receptions for 171 yards and three scores, racked up seven tackles and two TFLs, and recovered a fumble (returned for a TD).
The DCTF three-star has offers from Texas Tech, UTSA and Oregon State.
Recruit of the Week
Waco Connally 2024 CB Kobe Black (6'0, 190) was initially scheduled to make his commitment on Nov. 29 (today) but has pushed back his decision.
The state's No. 1 CB is now slated to make his decision on Dec. 13 at 4:20 p.m. CST. Black is considering schools like Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Ohio State and Oklahoma.
Black has been selected to play in the Under Armour All-America Game.
