Jim Ned 2023 OL Gage Stanaland (6'4, 270) picked up an offer from Oklahoma State and committed on the spot.
Stanaland also had offers from Abilene Christian, Louisiana Tech, Navy and New Mexico State.
Stanaland helped lead Jim Ned to an 8-4 record and a district championship as a senior in 2022.
Commit of the Week
Garland Naaman Forest DL/OL Markis Deal (6'4, 290) committed to TCU over offers from Texas, Arkansas, Georgia, Oklahoma and USC.
Deal is rated as the No. 16 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100, checking in as the No. 1 DT prospect.
Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: A two-way lineman who can impact the college game on offense or defense, Deal has elected to concentrate on the defensive line. A 79-inch wingspan and a 10-inch hand combined with good film helped him secure over 40 scholarship offers.
Underclassman of the Week
Red Oak 2025 DE Kamauryn Morgan (6'5, 230) is picking up offer after offer following a strong sophomore performance.
This week Morgan added his first three offers from Baylor, Georgia and Kentucky.
Morgan is part of an exceptional young group of prospects at Red Oak that also features names like 2025 WR Taz Williams and 2026 WR Brayden Robinson.
Colleges will be recruiting the school very hard in the months to come.
Recruit of the Week
South Oak Cliff 2023 CB Jayvon Thomas (5'11, 190) returned to action in a big way after missing most of his season due to an injury.
He is projected to play in the defensive secondary in college, but his arrival positively impacted the Golden Bears' offense. He had three rushes for 95 yards and two scores in a 42-37 win over Lovejoy.
Thomas is committed to Texas A&M but reported he is considering taking official visits to TCU and Texas Tech down the recruiting homestretch.
