Prospect on the Rise

San Antonio Southside 2022 QB Richard Torres (6'6, 210) picked up offer No. 1 from UTSA on March 1st and has been on fire ever since.

This month he has picked up eight new offers (in order): UTSA, Nebraska, UNLV, Washington State, San Diego State, Utah, Tulsa, and Kansas State.

Commit of the Week

2022 West Orange-Stark OC Demetrius Hunter (6'2, 315) committed to Oklahoma over offers from schools like Houston, SMU, Texas A&M, Arizona State and Oklahoma State.

Hunter is rated as a DCTF three-star prospect.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Hunter is an explosive talent in the trenches who blew up on the recruiting trail after moving from defensive tackle to center. He fires off the ball quickly and mauls at the point of attack.

Underclassmen of the Week

2023 Waco Connally RB Tre Wisner (5'11, 180) was named the RB MVP at the Under Armour camp stop in Dallas.

Wisner had a breakout sophomore campaign for the Cadets, including a nomination for Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week following a 266-yard, four-touchdown performance in his first varsity game

Wisner was named Co-Offensive Newcomer of the Year after rushing for 900 yards and 15 touchdowns.

On the recruiting front, Wisner has compiled an impressive offer list that includes schools like Baylor, TCU, Texas, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, USC and more.

Recruit of the Week

2022 Frisco Liberty WR Evan Stewart (6'0, 175) is back in the news this week after decommitting from Texas.

In addition to the Longhorns, Stewart now also has his eyes on schools like Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Florida.

Stewart is rated as a DCTF four-star, checking in as the No. 3 WR and the No. 22 prospect overall in the DCTF Hot 100.

As a junior in 2019, Stewart hauled in 46 receptions for 913 yards and nine touchdowns to help lead the Redhawks to the 5A Division II playoffs.

Stewart was only committed to Texas for three weeks.
