Preseason Offensive MVP: Carlos Rojas III (El Paso Riverside, QB)
Rojas (5'10, 175) played wide receiver but switched to QB to fill a team need and led Riverside to a 9–2 record while earning District Offensive MVP as a sophomore. Coach Daniel Chavez calls Rojas a, "leader on and off the field." He had 1,734 total yards and 27 touchdowns.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Andrew Andujo (El Paso Austin, CB)
Andujo (5'11, 175) was a First Team All-District selection at both wide receiver and cornerback in 2024. He had seven interceptions to go along with 342 receiving yards on just 13 catches, flashing his 4.4 40-yard dash speed.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Reid Macon (Canyon West Plains, QB)
Macon and his fellow senior teammates will be the first to attend Canyon West Plains for all four years of high school. The 6'0, 170 signal caller is a four-year starter who earned District Overall MVP with 3,528 passing yards and 36 touchdowns to go with 576 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Drayven Patton (Canyon Randall, LB)
Patton (5'8, 215) was the District Defensive MVP with 76 tackles and four tackles for loss. Coach Dan Sherwood describes him as the, "Captain and leader of the team. Strong with a motor that never stops."
3-4A DI
Preseason Offensive MVP: JaeSean DeBouse (Andrews, RB)
DeBouse (5'10, 185) was the District's Overall MVP with 1,501 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns. The senior has over 4,000 career rushing yards, and Coach Thomas Harvey describes him as, "a playmaker who will play at the next level." DeBouse will also play defense and serve as the team's punter.
Preseason Defensive MVP: RJ Gomez (Big Spring, DL)
Gomez (5'11, 220) was the District Defensive Lineman of the Year with 81 tackles, 21 tackles for loss and ten sacks. He is the headliner for a Big Spring program that returns nine starters on each side of the ball.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Judson Coalson (Brownwood, QB)
Coalson (6'4, 180) was a First Team All-District selection in 2024 with 1,653 passing yards and 13 touchdowns. He is one of eight returning starters on offense for first-year head coach Jeryl Brixey, previously the offensive coordinator at Katy.
Preseason Defensive MVP:Kolton Dearth (Stephenville, DL)
Dearth (6'2, 305) was the District Defensive MVP with 70 tackles, 36.5 tackles for loss and 10.5 QB sacks. Coach Sterling Doty describes Dearth, an Army commit, as the, "Heart and Soul of our defense!"

Preseason Offensive MVP: Jake Milligan (Decatur, RB)
Milligan (6'0, 170) was a First Team All-District selection with 805 rushing yards on 7.5 yards per carry.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Rome Ewell (Springtown, LB)
Fort Worth Eastern Hills ATH Prince Hill was the original pick in the magazine but moved to North Crowley. Ewell is the new pick after earning District Defensive Newcomer of the Year with 64 tackles, four tackles for loss and a fumble recovery. The 6'2, 210 junior holds offers from UTSA, UTEP and Louisiana Tech.

Preseason Offensive MVP: DeMarcus Belton (Alvarado, RB)
Belton (5'11, 200) was the District Offensive MVP with 1,803 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns to pair with 625 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. He will be the offensive headliner as Alvarado looks to replace QB Cardea Collier.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Trey Smith (Kennedale, FS)
Smith (6'0, 170) won a state championship with Kennedale's basketball team and is now looking to do the same in football as a QB and S. He earned First Team All-District honors with 52 tackles and three interceptions in 2024.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Bowe Bentley (Celina, QB)
Bentley (6'2, 200), an Oklahoma commit, led Celina to its first state championship since 2007 with 3,330 passing yards, 933 rushing yards and 63 total touchdowns. He is the Preseason Class 4A Offensive Player of the Year and graced the cover of Dave Campbell's TexasFootball magazine with teammate Luke Biagini.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Luke Biagini (Celina, LB)
Biagini (5'11, 215) was the Padilla Poll Class 4A DI All-State Defensive Player of the Year in 2024 with 139 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and ten pass breakups. He also earned Defensive MVP in the state championship win over Kilgore.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Tamajae McMillon (Wilmer-Hutchins, QB)
McMillon (6'2, 170) was a First Team All-District selection with 2,026 yards and 14 touchdowns. He is one of seven returning starters on offense for Wilmer-Hutchins and forms a dynamic duo with athlete Jaheim Cummings.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Landon Traylor (Dallas Carter, LB)
Traylor (6'0, 225) was the District Co-Sophomore of the Year with 103 tackles and nine sacks. His Carter team is projected to compete with Dallas Kimball for the District Championship.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Kayson Brooks (Kilgore, QB)
Brooks (5'10, 165) was the District Offensive Player of the Year after setting multiple school records with 3,673 passing yards and 48 total touchdowns, leading Kilgore to the state championship against Celina.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Isaiah Collins (Tyler Chapel Hill, DL)
Collins (6'0, 275) was a Second Team All-State selection with 118 tackles, eight tackles for loss and four sacks. He wins with power, evidenced by his 400-pound bench press and 620-pound squat.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Nolan Cook (Huffman Hargrave, QB)
Cook (5'10, 175) was the District Offensive MVP as a junior 2,554 total yards and 36 touchdowns, leading Huffman Hargrave to a 9–2 record.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Marek Lloyd (Little Cypress-Mauriceville, DE)
Little Cypress-Mauriceville went undefeated in district play thanks in large part to First Team All-District DE Lloyd (6'4, 255). His relentless motor powered him to a team-best 65 tackles, five tackles for loss and three sacks.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Christopher Brown (Houston Yates, QB)
Brown (5'10, 165) earned District Offensive MVP with 3,710 total yards and 47 touchdowns. His connection with WR Joshua Wallace gives Houston Yates district championship expectations with first-year head coach Jason Lewis.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Thomas Johnson (Houston Wheatley, DL)
Johnson (6'2, 300) is a force on the football field (78 tackles, six sacks) and in the classroom, ranked No.1 in his graduating class.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Kobie Campbell (Needville, RB)
Coach Mike Giles says Campbell (5'11, 180) continues to get stronger an faster, which should put District 12-4A DI on notice. Last year as a sophomore, he earned First Team All-District honors with 1,350 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Trason Richardson (Fort Bend Crawford, DB)
Richardson (6'2, 180), a Minnesota commit, is a rangy cornerback who earned First Team All-District in 2024 with 55 tackles, six pass breakups, three tackles for loss and three fumble recoveries.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Eric Walker II (Taylor, RB)
Walker (5'9, 200) transferred in from Bartlett this offseason after posting 1,245 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns in his sophomore campaign. Coach Earven Flowers describes him as a good downhill runner who's expected to make an immediate impact for the Ducks.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Antione Baker (Austin LBJ, DB)
Baker (6'3, 175), an Old Dominion commit, was a First Team All-State selection in 2024 with 84 tackles, 14 tackles for loss five sacks and four interceptions.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Barrett Fallon (San Antonio Davenport, RB)
Fallon (5'10, 185) had 1,913 total yards and 28 touchdowns in 2024, earning unanimous First Team All-District honors. The Fordham commit helped San Antonio Davenport post a 10–2 record.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Eli Hammons (Fischer Canyon Lake, LB)
Hammons (6'2, 205) led the district with 134 tackles and led the team with 29 tackles for loss and seven sacks. He leads a defense that returns all 11 starters from the program's deepest playoff run since 2017.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Sean Garza (La Vernia, RB)
Garza (5'10, 180) is a Preseason First Team All-State selection after earning District Offensive Player of the Year with over 2,000 rushing yards.
Preseason Defensive MVP: James Copeland (Bay City, LB)
Copeland (5'11, 190) is the heartbeat of Bay City's defense, which returns three all-district linebackers. He had 142 tackles in 2024.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Damien Figueroa (CC Tuloso-Midway, RB)
Figueroa (5'10, 198) led the area with 2,003 rushing yards and 32 touchdowns, earning District Overall MVP. He should have plenty of room to run behind four returning starters on the O-Line.
Preseason Defensive MVP:Ryder Reeve (CC Calallen, DB)
Reeve (6'1, 175) is a physical safety who had 91 tackles, an interception and a blocked kick in 2024. He was a First Team All-District pick and Second Team Padilla Poll All-State honoree.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Lincoln Madrid (Midland Greenwood, QB)
Madrid (5'9, 165) headlines a loaded senior class for Midland Greenwood, most of whom are three-year starters. He earned District Overall MVP in 2024 with 2,077 passing yards, 29 passing touchdowns, 1,113 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Caton Cramer (Seminole, ATH)
Cramer (6'4, 200), an Air Force commit, can play any position on the field. He led Seminole with 596 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns while adding 334 yards and five touchdowns receiving, but should also see extensive defensive snaps in 2025.

Preseason Offensive MVP: James Bozeman (Lubbock Estacado, RB)
Bozeman (5'10, 185) is a burner with a 10.88 100-meter dash and 21.40 200-meter dash who used that track speed to rack up 1,015 yards on the ground last year.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Cedric Ross (Lubbock Estacado, DB)
Ross (6'0, 195), a Colorado State commit, was the District's Unanimous Offensive Player of the Year and a unanimous First Team All-District cornerback.
3-4A DII
Preseason Offensive MVP: Jace Gill (Graham, QB)
Gill (5'11, 170) was a First Team All-District wide receiver who'll move to quarterback his senior year. He'll take over an offense that returns just one starter from a 12–2 team.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Colt Matlock (Brock, DB)
Coach Billy Mathis describes Matlock (6'1, 180) as "the most electric player on the field every Friday night." The UTEP commit was the District Utility Player of the Year with 800 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns on offense, 36 tackles, 15 pass breakups and six interceptions on defense, and seven punt return touchdowns.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Brennan Barton (Fort Worth Benbrook, QB)
Barton (6'0, 175) led Benbrook to its first playoff run and the best record in program history (11–2) last season, earning First Team All-District honors. He finished with 2,371 total yards and 26 touchdowns. Coach Cody Slater describes him as a team player who wins with a high motor and high IQ.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Ryder Ribitzki (Glen Rose, LB)
Ribitzki (6'4, 215) will be a two-way player for Glen Rose after earning First Team All-District linebacker accolades with 131 tackles and three sacks.
5-4A DII
Preseason Offensive MVP: Levi McAbee (Farmersville, QB)
McAbee (5'8, 160) led Farmersville to its first playoff win since 2016 as a sophomore, earning First Team All-District honors with 2,220 passing yards and 21 touchdowns. Coach Zachary Quinlan says, "This young man can make all the throws and will only get better."
Preseason Defensive MVP: Max Taylor (Sanger, LB)
Taylor (6'1, 195) earned District Defensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore with 86 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks and two interceptions.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Cayson Maupin (Sunnyvale, QB)
Maupin (6'0, 175) earned District Overall MVP as a sophomore with 3,452 total yards and 46 touchdowns. He was described as one of the state's most underrated signal callers in Dave Campbell's TexasFootball magazine.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Belcar Soto (Quinlan Ford, DE)
Soto (6'1, 190) is a three-year starter who earned First Team All-District in 2024 with 62 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and three fumble recoveries.
7-4A DII
Preseason Offensive MVP: Nick Bells (Pleasant Grove, LB)
Bells (5'8, 170) was a First Team All-District selection with 907 yards and 15 touchdowns on 6.39 yards per carry. Coach Josh Gibson describes the three-year starter as extremely quick and explosive. Look for him to also line up at slot wide receiver.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Tyler Hagler (Gilmer, DL)
Hagler (6'0, 325) was the District's Defensive Lineman of the Year with 103 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and four sacks. He is the leader of a loaded Buckeyes' defensive line.

Preseason Offensive MVP: KJ Edwards (Carthage, RB)
Edwards (5'11, 185), a Texas A&M commit, is the No.2-ranked running back in the DCTX Hot 100. He had 2,167 total yards and 26 touchdowns as a junior and earned Offensive MVP in the state championship game win over Waco La Vega.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Daquives Beck (Carthage, LB)
Beck (6'2, 215) and fellow linebacker Carson Crawford give Carthage the best linebacking duo in Class 4A. The Texas A&M commit will move back to his natural home at inside linebacker this season.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Khelvy Jefferson (West Orange-Stark, RB)
Jefferson (5'3, 160) was the workhorse of West Orange-Stark's 9–3 season, totaling 1,417 yards and 18 touchdowns in a unanimous First Team All-District campaign.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Matsyn Morris (Silsbee, LB)
Morris (5'8, 175) was a two-way First Team All-District selection. The Mike linebacker shows a great nose for the football with 167 tackles.
10-4A DII
Preseason Offensive MVP: Mudassir Abdullah (West Columbia, RB)
Abdullah (6'0, 165), a Houston commit, was a First Team All-District running back selection with 1,437 total yards and 12 touchdowns. His college future will be on the defensive side, where he earned Second Team All-Distirct honors with 42 tackles, five pass breakups and three interceptions.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Jaylan Palmer (Brookshire Royal, DB)
Palmer (5'9, 170) was the District Co-Defensive MVP with 50 tackles and six interceptions. He is one of eight returning starters on Brookshire Royal's defense.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Kane Killough (Sealy, QB)
Killough (6'3, 220) led Sealy to the regional finals with 2,326 passing yards and 27 touchdown passes and added 879 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. He and athlete Elijah Sanders were ranked by Dave Campbell's as one of Class 4A's best QB/WR duos.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Adarius Hutchinson (Bellville, LB)
Hutchinson (6'0, 180), a UTEP commit, is a three-time First Team All-District selection who posted 75 tackles, two pick-sixes and a blocked kick in 2024.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Jamarion Vincent (Waco Connally, QB)
Vincent (6'3, 185) was the Class 4A Coverboy in the Dave Campbell's TexasFootball 2025 Magazine. The Baylor commit plays quarterback, cornerback and even some wide receiver for Waco Connally. He had 818 yards and nine touchdowns through the air to go along with 1,123 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns.
Preseason Defensive MVP: MarQwae Willis (Waco La Vega, DB)
Willis (6'2, 180) is a Preseason Class 4A All-State selection after tallying 72 tackles, three interceptions and two tackles for loss in Waco La Vega's run to the state championship. He is also an impact player at wide receiver and as a return specialist.

Preseason Offensive MVP: Payton Helford (Geronimo Navarro, ATH)
Helford (5'10, 175) was the District Offensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore quarterback and should have plenty of room to operate behind a physical offensive front.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Maverick Jacobs (Wimberley, LB)
Jacobs (5'8, 185) should get the bulk of the carries on offense and also play a critical role at outside linebacker after earning First Team All-District at both positions in 2024.
14-4A DII
Preseason Offensive MVP: Jeffry Thomas (Bandera, WR)
Thomas (5'10, 155) was the District's Utility Player of the Year as a junior with 915 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns, as well as 27 tackles and an interception at cornerback. The three-year starter has a career average of 21 yards per reception.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Trystan Lafond (Devine, LB)
Lafond (6'1, 220) had 60 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, four sacks and two forced fumbles as a defensive tackle in 2024 and will move to linebacker for his senior year.
15-4A DII
Preseason Offensive MVP: Walker Dietze (Cuero, WR)
Dietze (6'2, 190) earned District Offensive MVP with 73 catches for 1,231 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior and could be in for an even bigger year with the healthy return of quarterback Jaxxon Marie.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Jonathan Rivas (Sinton, LB)
Sinton returns just three starters on defense, but one of them is reigning District Defensive Newcomer of the Year Rivas (5'10, 170). He had 116 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and five sacks in his junior campaign. Coach Michael Troutman describes him as the leader of the defense and a playmaker that brings attitude to the position.
16-4A DII
Preseason Offensive MVP: Damarius Montgomery (Kingsville King, RB)
Montgomery (5'10, 200) was a unanimous First Team All-District selection with 1,407 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns. He is a powerful runner who seemingly always makes it to the second level of the defense.
Preseason Defensive MVP: Eddie Alvarado (La Feria, LB)
Alvarado (5'10, 163) earned District Defensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore with 93 tackles. He was a revelation in La Feria's split district championship run.
