Three Key Additions
Who were the highest-rated signees or prospects who might come in and make a significant impact?
QB Hauss Hejny (6'0, 185) - Aledo: Behind the scenes, there have been some expectations that Hejny can come in and push for the starting, and the news that Chandler Morris is transferring adds value to this critical signing. The No. 2-rated QB enters college battle-tested versus solid TXHSFB competition. Hejny was an Elite 11 finalist, a Mr. Texas Football Player of the Year finalist, and will play in the All-American Bowl.
WR Gekyle Baker (6'2, 170) - Brownsboro: The DCTF four-star is a deep-ball specialist, skillfully blending size and speed. He excels in stretching the field, effortlessly creating separation. With a lengthy and fluid frame, he navigates press coverage with ease. His body control and deceptive speed allow him to dust defenders consistently.
RB Nate Palmer (5'11, 185) - Decatur: Palmer is a winner and a bonafide stat producer. He racked up 4,910 yards and scored 59 rushing touchdowns throughout a tremendous TXHSFB career split between College Station and Decatur. He also proved his worth as a pass-catcher out of the backfield with 693 yards and 12 scores. He's equally adept at using his speed to reach the edge and has the power to test the heart of the defense.
Fan Favorite
What prospect was a fan favorite or a local hero who starred near the campus?
DT Sterlin Brooks (6'4, 315) - North Crowley: The monster with a 675-pound helped power a dominant North Crowley defense and was a hype man for TCU on social media since the time he picked the Horned Frogs during his live commitment ceremony on DCTF where he said, "I'm the hardest pit in the litter; I run the yard, no chain."

Devondre McGee (6'1, 180) - Conroe: In a loaded year in-state at the position, McGee is rated No. 10 positionally, but with his size, transition speed, and dependability, he has the upside to develop into an NFL draft selection
