North Crowley 2024 DT Sterlin Brooks (6’4, 325) committed to TCU over offers from Baylor, SMU and more.

Brooks is a monster in the weight room, boasting a 635-pound squat.

The No. 10-rated defensive tackle brings it on the field as well.

“(Sterlin has a) massive frame,” North Crowley head coach Ray Gates commented. "(He) demands a double team."

There were a number of key factors that led to Brooks' decision and proximity was key, as TCU is the hometown team, located only 10 miles from the TCU campus.

Brooks will be reunited with high school teammate ATH Julian Knox in college. Knox committed to TCU last week.

Credit TCU assistant coach Jamarkus McFarland for running point in this recruitment.
