Prospect on the Rise

This week we focus in on Crowley 2020 RB Dominique Johnson (6'1, 221) who picked up his first FBS and Power Five Conference offer from Missouri.

Johnson, who had a strong showing at the Next Level Athlete Top 100 Showcase in Dallas, is a bigger-framed running back who would fit in well in the SEC.

Texas Southern, Abilene Christian, Illinois State and Houston Baptist also have extended offers.

Commit of the Week

Alabama picked up a commitment from Denton Ryan 2020 ATH Drew Sanders (6'5, 222).

Sanders switched his commitment from Oklahoma to the Crimson Tide after taking an official visit to Tuscaloosa earlier this spring.

Sanders could play offense (tight end) or defense (linebacker/defensive end) on the next level, but it appears that Bama has him pegged to play defense in the SEC.

Next Level Scouting Report: A physical freak. Sanders has been on the recruiting landscape already for a few years and has experience playing multiple positions.

Underclassman of the Week

Clear Lake 2021 DB Mark Wilson (6'0, 166) picked up a big in-state offers from Baylor and Houston.

The Bears and Cougars join Vanderbilt and South Alabama on Wilson's early offer list.

As a junior, Wilson had 63 tackles, two interceptions, and nine PBUs.

Wilson could play safety or corner on the next level.

Recruit of the Week

Mesquite Poteet 2020 RB Seth McGowan (5'11, 215) named a top four of Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and USC.

McGowan is one of the top-rated running backs in the state, checking in as the No. 7 prospect in the state and the No. 2 RB per the DCTF prospect rankings.

As a junior, McGowan rushed for 1,613 yards and scored 25 touchdowns.
