Forney 2024 S Aaron Flowers (6'0, 185) committed to Oregon over offers from Baylor, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, USC and more.

"I just thought Oregon was a better fit for me," Flowers said. "I feel as if I just connected better, and I saw myself playing there at Oregon than I did at other schools."

"The facilities they have at Oregon are just insane. Best facilities by far in college football that I've been to. I felt really connected there."

Flowers collected 55 tackles, six PBUs, and two INTs to earn first-team all-district honors as a junior in 2022. He checks in as the No. 23 prospect overall in the DCTF Hot 100 and is the No. 4 safety in the state.

Flowers is the first player from Texas in the Class of 2024 to commit to Oregon, but the Ducks signed six DCT four-stars from the Lone Star State in the Class of 2023.

Scout's Take: Flowers is an exceptional defensive back, with a reputation as one of the top players at his position both locally and nationally. At Forney, he has displayed versatility, playing both safety and cornerback. His body control is impressive, never wasting a movement while in reverse, and he is able to plant and change directions quickly. He possesses loose hips and great agility, moving nimbly and demonstrating rapid closing speed. His football instincts are top-notch, as he is a multi-position player with a strong awareness of the game. His acceleration is notable, especially in pursuit or breaking on the ball.
