Temple 2023 WR Mikal Harrison-Pilot (6'0, 190) committed to Houston over offers from TCU, Texas, Cal and Oklahoma.

Harrison-Pilot is the Cougars' highest-rated commitment in the Class of 2023, checking in at No. 28 in the DCTF Hot 100. He was also one of the most highly-recruited prospects in the nation, collecting over 45 scholarship offers in total.

Harrison-Pilot was a four-year varsity starter for Scott Stewart and the Wildcats.

“They’re gonna get a leader, just a guy who’s gonna do whatever’s best for the team,” Harrison-Pilot told DCTF.

Harrison-Pilot has a strong connection to UH, as his father, Chris Pilot, played linebacker for the Cougars. He has known Dana Holgorsen since the eighth grade and has been impressed by the team's offensive success under his guidance. He sees the potential to contribute early and is excited about the opportunity to continue his family's legacy at Houston.
