One of the first big dominoes of the spring transfer portal period comes from Fort Worth. TCU defensive tackle Damonic Williams is set to enter the transfer portal, as first reported by Chris Hummer at 247Sports.

Williams has started 27 consecutive games in his first two years on campus. A freshman All-American on TCU's national championship run in 2022, Williams followed his debut with an honorable mention All-Big 12 Defensive Linemen of the Year nod as a sophomore. He was rated the second-best interior defensive linemen in Texas by DCTF's "Texas Ten" series.

Williams will be one of the hottest commodities in the portal. TCU will now rely on senior Tymon Mitchell and highly touted redshirt freshmen Markis Deal to step up in Williams's absence.
