Lone Star 2024 QB Collin Blackstock launched a magnificent 42-yard touchdown pass to 2025 WR Winston Pollard as time expired to deliver a thrilling 35-32 triumph for Lone Star in their District 6-5A Division I opener against Frisco Reedy at the Toyota Center. It capped off a lightning-fast 58-yard drive in the closing 43 seconds to give the Rangers a thrilling walk-off win.

The scintillating sophomore had 23 carries for 186 yards and two touchdowns, and two receptions for 46 yards. He had a couple of long passing plays called back on penalties, or the state line would have been even more impressive.

McGrath also had a couple of huge plays called back on penalty, but the Lone Star defense never found an answer for him as he hauled in five passes for 122 yards and two scores.
