Prospect on the Rise

Highland Park 2024 QB Warren Peck (6'5, 220) is a prospect who will generate a lot more buzz as colleges see him in the spring evaluation period.

His size and arm power quickly grab attention, and he has the high-level academics to play for any program in the country.

Peck has heard from Ivy League programs like Yale and Georgetown, while schools like Hawaii, New Mexico State, UConn, Memphis, Cincinnati and Wyoming could stop by Highland Park and watch him throw in the spring.

Commit of the Week

San Antonio Veterans Memorial 2024 RB James Peoples (5'10, 195) committed to Ohio State over offers from Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, TCU and more.

Peoples is rated as a DCTF four-star, checking in at No. 12 in the 2024 DCTF RISING Hot 100.

Scouting Report: Peoples exhibits excellent initial burst. Once he penetrates the line of scrimmage, he promptly locates gaps and exploits defenses with quick north-south bursts. He demonstrates great decision-making abilities, whether to hit the hole or employ his explosive lateral agility to break out wide.

Underclassman of the Week

Fort Bend Marshall 2025 WR Ja'kayden Ferguson (6'2, 175) picked up a new offer from Oklahoma.

Houston, Texas State, Texas Tech, UTSA, UIW, Arizona State, Arkansas, ULM, North Texas, Ole Miss and Oregon have also offered.

Ferguson was one of 39 prospects who DCTF recently named a four-star and added to the 2025 DCTF five-star watch list.

Ferguson is the nephew of former Texas A&M WR Robert Ferguson.

Recruit of the Week

Conroe Oak Ridge OLB Justin Williams (6'2, 205) ran the fastest time at the UC Report Camp in Houston (4.44) and picked up an offer from Georgia.

The four-star also jumped up one spot in the DCTF rankings moving from No. 7 to No. 6.

Back in January, Williams named a top six of TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Auburn, Oregon and USC, but has since picked up offers from Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, UGA and more.

Oregon has done a great job up to this point in Williams' recruitment.
