Prospect on the Rise

San Antonio Veterans 2024 RB James Peoples (5'11, 195) picked up new offers from Baylor, Miami (FL) and Ohio State. 

Peoples also holds offers from Houston, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, UTSA, Kansas, Missouri and Central Michigan. 

So far this season, Peoples has rushed for 1,352 yards and 22 touchdowns. 

Commit of the Week

Aldine MacArthur 2023 ATH Justin Williams (6'3, 180) committed to Rice over offers from Pittsburgh, Louisiana and Air Force. 

Williams is rated as a DCTF three-star prospect.

Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Williams is a two-way WR/CB talent who rarely comes off the field. His length and size are desirable in the secondary. On offense, he can win the contested ball. 

Underclassman of the Week

Katy Paetow 2025 CB Deyjhon Pettaway (5'10, 165) added an offer from Baylor to go with a growing list that also includes Texas A&M, UTSA, LSU and Ole Miss. 

Pettway, who owns sizzling 10.83 100-meter and 22.47 200-meter track times, is the younger brother of 2023 Texas A&M commitment Daymion Sanford. 

Recruit of the Week

Austin Westlake 2023 DE Colton Vasek (6'6, 230) has been a hot topic this week following his unofficial visit to Texas for the Iowa State game.  

As many recruiting fans know, Vasek is currently an Oklahoma commit with strong ties to UT. 

His father (Brian Vasek) played his college ball at Texas.
