Dave Campbell’s Texas Football is taking you through all the matchups you need to watch in Week 14 of the college football season.

Early Window

Marquee Game: Texas A&M at Auburn, 11 a.m. on ESPN

The Aggies have put together one of the best regular seasons in program history, and now have one final major test. Auburn fell out of the top 25 after a bad loss to Alabama, but the Tigers are hungry for a signature win, especially with star running back Tank Bigsby returning from injury.

The Aggies have been better than Auburn in almost every phase of the game this season. However, Auburn has a knack for creating incredible luck out of thin air, especially against elite teams. When Gus Malzahn is on the sidelines, Texas A&M will have to stay ready.

Second Screen: Texas vs. Kansas State, 11 a.m. on FOX

The Longhorns are in panic mode after falling out of Big 12 championship contention. Captains Sam Cosmi and Caden Sterns have opted out of the remainder of the 2020 season and declared for the NFL Draft. Now, Texas has to finish off against a Kansas State team whose primary Big 12 role is ruining seasons? It should be fascinating to watch what happens.

Other Games:

  • Texas Tech vs. Kansas, 11 a.m. on FS2: The Red Raiders have a chance to finish the season strong and show off some of the exciting young weapons that will take over the roster in 2021.

  • Rice at Marshall, 11 a.m. on ESPN+: The Owls will have a chance to face off against one of the nation’s best teams. Marshall has beat every team it has played by double-digits this season – can Rice break the streak?

  • TCU vs. Oklahoma State, 11 a.m. on ESPN2: The Horned Frogs keep alternating great and terrible performances, but Oklahoma State could be a great opportunity to pick up a signature win.

Late Window

Marquee Game: Baylor at Oklahoma, 7 p.m. on FOX

Last week, Baylor quarterback Charlie Brewer finally found a little something and turned the clock back to his sophomore season. However, Oklahoma ranks among the best teams in the Big 12 and OU quarterback Spencer Rattler has torn better teams than Baylor to pieces. A quick start could make all the difference in this one.
