Prospect on the Rise

South Grand Prairie 2021 WR Kelan Robinson (6'3, 175) is a prospect who will start to pick up a lot of steam once college coaches have the chance to get an extended look at him on film.

Robinson recently picked up his first scholarship offer from Kansas, but it won't be the last for the long and rangy receiver who has above average leaping ability.

With guys like Robinson and fellow Class of 2021 standout WR Deamikkio Nathan, SGP will have one of the best 1-2 punches at WR in the DFW over the next two seasons.

The Warriors open up week one with a big game versus Southlake Carroll.

Commit of the Week

For the second week in a row, the Commit of the Week belongs to the Texas Longhorns.

Temple WR Quentin Johnston (6'3, 181) committed to the 'Horns over offers from TCU and Oklahoma.

Additionally, UT added a commitment from Shadow Creek 2020 S Xavion Alford (6'0, 185).

Underclassman of the Week

This week's underclassman of note is Del Valle WR Caleb Burton (6'0, 165).

Burton has added a new offer from LSU. The Tigers join schools like Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Iowa State, SMU, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Kansas and Syracuse on his early offer list.

Burton was named as one of the Top 25 freshmen in Texas in the Dave Campbell's Texas Football Rising magazine after an all-district performance in 2018.

Recruit of the Week

This week we focus in on FB Marshall ATH Devon Achane (5'9, 170).

Achane named a top-five on Tuesday: Houston, Texas A&M, Alabama, LSU, Florida State.

Achane is rated as the No. 34 overall prospect in the state per the DCTF Hot 100.
