Timpson 2024 ATH Terry Bussey (5'11, 175) committed to Texas A&M over offers from Texas, Alabama, LSU and Oklahoma live on Dave Campbell's Texas Football during a Commitment Announcement Special at Timpson High School.

Bussey was named Mr. Texas Football following a dominant junior season, making an impact felt on seemingly every play.

As a quarterback, the junior threw for 2,177 yards and 26 touchdowns, completing 64 percent of his passes. Bussey also rushed for 2,596 yards and 46 touchdowns, averaging 14.1 yards per carry. Defensively, he tallied 115 tackles and five interceptions, returning four for touchdowns. On special teams, Bussey returned three kickoffs for touchdowns and added a punt return for a score. Bussey accounted for 4,773 yards of total offense and 80 total touchdowns throughout the season, guiding Timpson to the 2A Division I state semifinals.
