LEAGUE CITY, Texas - - Clear Springs four-star offensive lineman Blake Ivy just committed to Texas A&M live on Dave Campbell's Texas Football.

Ivy is the No. 39 prospect overall in the 2024 DCTF Rising Hot 100. He was also considering LSU and Texas.

While rated as an offensive guard, Ivy can play anywhere on the offensive front per Clear Springs Head Coach Anthony Renfro

"His god-given athletic ability makes him special," Renfro said. "He's 6'4, 280 and has a 7'1 wingspan, but he's also one of our hardest workers.

He can play center, guard, or tackle. I think he will find his way onto the field on the inside early in his career, and then if he has to, move outside, he can definitely do it because of his arm length, but he can play anywhere because he is so athletic."

In addition to being one of the top football prospects in the Lone Star State, Ivy is described as "great kid."

"He's a good leader," Renfro said. "He has a good family. He just brings a lot of positives to our program. Everything that he does for our program, just being a good kid and a good leader, is what is so special about Blake."

Ivy earned unanimous first-team all-district honors as a junior in 2022.
