Dave Campbell’s Texas Football is proud to announce the formation of the Republic of Football Podcast Network.

Ever since the launch of the Republic of Football podcast in 2017 and the creation of the college insider position at Dave Campbell’s, the company has wanted to become more involved in the college athletics space. This year, we’ve taken the next steps toward that with the expansion of our college editorial team. The DCTF Republic of Football Podcast Network (RoF Network) is a big step in meeting our readers at the grassroots level and using our platform to commutatively signal-boost college content across Texas.

In collaboration with established college sports podcasts around the Lone Star State, we hope to expose our audience to established fanbases of respective college programs and vice versa. In addition to traditional episodes of the Republic of Football, with rotating hosts of college editor Ishmael Johhnson, senior college writer Mike Craven, non-FBS insider Cory Hogue and producer Mallory Hartley, subscribing to the RoF feed on Apple and Spotify now gets you weekly episodes of five additional established podcasts:

  • Between Two Bears with Matt Wilson, Evan Hebert and Deonte Epps
  • Gamblin’ Gauchos with Robert Breaux and Kyle Jacobsen
  • The Green Room with Matthew Brune and Colin Mitchell
  • The Roost Podcast with Matthew Bartlett and Carter Spires

With the launch of the network, Dave Campbell’s is also proud to announce the creation of two brand new podcasts, Aggie War Pod and Eyes on Texas. Former Texas A&M defensive lineman and notorious Duke’s Mayonnaise Enjoyer Jay Arnold joins Dave Campbell’s Texas Football as a contributor to co-host Aggie War Pod alongside senior college writer Mike Craven to dissect everything in Aggieland. Craven will also team with Erin Hogan of 104.9 The Horn in Austin to bring you in-depth analysis of the 40 Acres with Eyes on Texas.

The network’s aim is to add team-specific shows to in hopes of touching base with every major college fanbase in Texas, meaning that we’re not done with just these eight shows.

Episodes will publish weekly starting on March 14.
