Projected betting lines are the new unofficial start of the season and DraftKings set them for five of the Texas Longhorns’ biggest games in 2024. The move to the SEC reunites Texas with Texas A&M with their first clash in over a decade set for Nov. 30. DraftKings has the Horns as a four-point favorite on the road against the Aggies at Kyle Field.

Texas is also projected as a three-point favorite in a Week 2 clash at the Big House against defending champion Michigan. The Longhorns are 8.5-point favorites over Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl and 16.5-point favorites for the trip to Fayetteville to play former Southwest Conference rival Arkansas. Texas is an underdog at home against Georgia, at least according to the opening lines. The Bulldogs are favored by 1.5 points.

Steve Sarkisian’s group reached the College Football Playoff in their final year as a Big 12 member. Even with the move to the SEC expectations are high on the 40 Acres thanks to an experienced quarterback and a top-tier offensive and defensive line.
