Cy-Fair 2025 DL Landon Rink (6'2, 275) committed to Texas A&M over Ohio State and Oklahoma during a commitment ceremony with his family, coaches and teammates.

Rink, the son of former Texas Longhorns defensive lineman Shane Rink (1991-95), found his fit with Texas A&M through a strong relationship with the new coaching staff, including defensive line coach Tony Jerod-Eddie.

Rink is rated as a four-star prospect, checking in at No. 30 overall in the 2025 DCTF RISING Hot 100.

"I have never seen a player that has this much energy for everything that makes him special," Cy-Fair head coach Jeff Miller said about his star defender.

"He has passion for the game, working out, his coaches, his teammates. He never has a bad day. He was born for this."

Rink collected 70 tackles and 15 sacks to earn 17-6A Defensive MVP honors.

Scouting Report: His sheer physicality and unrivaled tenacity make him a linchpin in any defense. Rink was the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase DL MVP in Houston.
