Fort Bend Ridge Point 2024 WR Ashton Bethel-Roman (6'2, 170) will always have an interesting recruiting story to tell.

After wrestling with a decision in December, Bethel-Roman signed with Arkansas over Texas A&M.

The Aggies made a strong push, but he had developed a strong relationship with Arkansas WR coach Kenny Guiton, who left the program to take the same job at Wisconsin.

In the wake of the news, Bethel-Roman was released from his Letter of Intent and allowed to re-open his recruitment, ultimately signing with Texas A&M over Baylor.

Scouting Report: A reliable chain-mover, Bethel-Roman's route running and hands make him a consistent target. He's a skilled route technician with sneaky top-end speed and athleticism, boasting 21.51 200-meter speed and a 23-3 long jump. He is the son of former NFL DB Mark Roman.
