The Elite 11 is largely considered the nation's most premier quarterback camp. 20 quarterbacks have been invited nationally to compete for a spot in the Elite 11, which is named at the conclusion of the event.
Could one or more of TXHSFB's flame-throwers make the cut?
QB Quinn Ewers - Southlake Carroll
The DCTF five-star is rated as the No. 1 QB in the state. After a strong showing at the Elite 11 regional camp in Dallas, he is the odds on favorite to make the Elite 11. Ewers is verbally committed to Ohio State.
QB Cade Klubnik - Austin Westlake
Klubnik suffered an AC sprain towards the end of the 2020-21 season and has been recovering, but looked super impressive at the Texas 7-on-7 State Championships. Klubnik is an accurate passer who is starting to recover his arm strength. The DCTF fout-star is committed to Clemson.
QB Conner Weigman - Cypress Bridgeland
Weigman was the top passer at the Elite 11 regional stop in Houston. He is another prospect who looked strong in the Texas 7-on-7 State Championships. Weigman is a 'pick to click' at the Elite 11 finals because he works extremely well outside of the pocket and should shine in the drills. The DCTF four-star is a Texas A&M verbal.
QB Nick Evers - Flower Mound
It is not fair to call the Florida commitment a sleeper, but as far as the national quarterback rankings are concerned he is not an odds-on favorite to make the final cut. But put us in the category that believes he has the skillset to make a run at it. He enters the event focus and determined.
