San Antonio Wagner head coach Charles Bruce will take over as the new head coach at San Antonio Brandeis, per Don Harris.

He'll replace David Branscom who left to take a position on Allen's coaching staff.

Branscom spent six total seasons at Brandeis; two as defensive coordinator under former Allen head coach Jeff Fleener before he was named head coach in 2017. He rattled off an impressive 37-10 overall record leading the Broncos, including back-to-back regional final appearances in 2018 and 2019. His 2019 Brandeis squad posted an impressive 13-1 overall record.

Bruce led Wagner to back-to-back 13-2 seasons in 2018-19, advancing to the Class 5A-Division state semifinals in both years, before a 4-4 season in 2020.
