Marco Regalado, who has endeared himself to the Texas high school football community and beyond with his clever videos, has announced he's leaving his position on V.R. Eaton's staff to take a position at Washington State.
Regalado announced his next move with, you guessed it, a video on Twitter on Sunday.
"I’ve always been a fan of coach Nick Rolovich and how he runs programs," Regalado told TexasFootball.com. "I’ve heard from a lot of people that’s a guy you want to work for.
"I decided because I’m young and at this point in my life it’s the right time to make that jump. Coaching college football has always been a dream of mine and this is a dream come true. I will be a recruiting assistant, helping with evaluating film, and building relationships with high school coaches. Hope to create a Texas Pipeline. Also will be assistant with game day and official visits."
The 28-year-old graduated from Zapata High School. Prior to his position with Eaton, Regalado was a special teams coordinator, linebackers coach, recruiting coordinator and powerlifting coach at PSJA Memorial High School.
