Cypress Bridgeland 2021 CB Bryce McMorris (5'11, 170) has committed to SMU over offers from schools like Rice, UTSA, Colorado State, Nevada, Washington State and more.

McMorris is rated as a DCTF three-star prospect.
Scouting Report: Moved to safety as a junior so he could be more involved with the defense, but has looked good playing corner. He is a good tackler in space and reacts quickly to the ball in the air. McMorris has cornerback nimbleness and size but showed game by game progression as a tackler in 2019, making him a well-rounded defensive back.
As a junior in 2019, McMorris collected 49 tackles, one interception, and a forced fumble to earn 14-6A first-team all-district honors.
