About the UTSA Roadrunners

Marcus Davenport. Birds Up! Larry Coker. David Morgan II. Frank Wilson. Jarveon Williams. Fiesta! Eric Soza. Josiah Tauaefa. The Sombrilla Fountain. The Alamodome. This is UTSA football.

What the Roadrunners lack in years of history, they've made up for with impact. The program launched by hiring a national championship winning coach in Coker for the inaugural 2011 season, and followed him with one of the most exciting young coaches in the country in Frank Wilson. Playing downtown San Antonioa, they've garnered a loyal local following, and built a good program with a solid foundation in less than a decade. They reached their first bowl game in 2016, and were bowl eligible in 2017 before controversially being shut out of the bowls.
