Offensive MVP: Ben Wilson (El Paso Coronado, ATH)
Wilson (6'1, 190) is a two-time First Team All-District QB who will move toward an "athlete" role in 2025 as a junior. He was the team's leading rusher at quarterback last season (600 yards, 4 TD), and Coach Mike Pry wants to use that athleticism at wildcat QB and WR.
Defensive MVP: Andrew Flanagan (El Paso Eastlake, DL)
Flanagan (6'1, 275) posted 51 tackles, 4 sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in a breakout sophomore season, earning District Defensive Newcomer of the Year. The junior forms a dynamic duo on the defensive line with Ezekiel Cisneros.

Offensive MVP: Chase Campbell (Wolfforth Frenship, WR)
Campbell (6'2, 185), a Texas Tech commit, caught 78 passes for 1,458 yards and 18 touchdowns last season. He also notched six rushing touchdowns, two kickoff return touchdowns and two passing touchdowns. Campbell will be Wolfforth Frenship's new starting QB's best friend.
Defensive MVP: Levi Martinez (Midland Legacy, DB)
Martinez (6'1, 180) was a Second Team All-District outside linebacker in 2024 with 27 tackles, three tackles for loss, three fumble recoveries, two pass breakups and 1 sack. He will headline a talented Midland Legacy secondary this fall.

Offensive MVP: Damarion Mays (North Crowley, WR)
Mays (6'3, 195) is tasked with replacing Colorado signee Quentin Gibson as North Crowley's WR1. He was named Freshman All-American at Dallas Life Oak Cliff last season with 68 catches for 1,640 yards and 16 touchdowns, and holds nearly 30 scholarship offers.
Defensive MVP: Brandon Ford (Crowley, CB)
Ford (6'0, 180), an Oklahoma State commit, was a First Team All-District performer with 15 pass breakups and two interceptions at cornerback. He's one of eight returning starters on defense.

Offensive MVP: Brock Boyd (Southlake Carroll, WR)
Boyd, an Ohio State commit, is the DCTF's Class 6A Preseason Offensive Player of the Year after hauling in 112 receptions for 1,868 yards and 19 touchdowns. He and quarterback Angelo Renda give Southlake one of the state's best QB/WR combos.

Defensive MVP: Caleb Adom (Euless Trinity, S)
Adom (6'0, 175) ranked No.1 in the nation in the triple jump with a wind-legal 49'11" mark. He brings that explosivity to Euless Trinity's secondary.

Offensive MVP: Derrick Martin Jr. (Lewisville, ATH)
Martin (5'10, 180), the son of eight-year NFL veteran Derrick Martin, earned District Offensive Utility Player of the Year as a sophomore with 403 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns, 351 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns, and a passing touchdown. The junior has nearly 30 scholarship offers.
Defensive MVP: Khyren Haywood (Denton Guyer, DT)
Haywood (6'2, 275) was a First Team All-District selection as a sophomore with 75 tackles, 23 tackles for loss and five sacks. He is one of three C/O 2027 prospects on Denton Guyer's defensive line with Power Four offers.

Offensive MVP: Braeden Imhoff (Prosper, QB)
Imhoff (6'0, 176) was the District Offensive Player of the Year as a junior with 2,631 yards and 27 passing touchdowns. The coaches describe him as a mobile quarterback who can make every throw on the field.
Defensive MVP: Ja'Prei Wafer (Allen, LB)
Wafer (6'0, 220) was a First Team All-District selection with 150 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, two interceptions and two sacks.

Offensive MVP: Christian Rhodes (Lake Highlands, RB)
Rhodes (6'2, 210), an SMU commit, was unanimous District Offensive Newcomer of the Year as a junior with 1,300 yards and 14 touchdowns on just 147 carries. He was juice behind Lake Highlands's 9–3 District Championship season.
Defensive MVP: Gabriel James (Dallas Jesuit, LB)
James (5'10, 192) was a First team All-District selection with 96 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and two pass breakups.

Offensive MVP: Daylon Brooks (South Grand Prairie, QB)
Brooks (5'10, 180) was a Second Team All-District quarterback with 2,000 passing yards and 26 total touchdowns. He headlines a tight-knit senior class that was in eighth grade when Coach Laban DeLay's staff arrived.
Defensive MVP: Jesse Ford (Arlington Martin, DE)
Last year's 3–7 record marked the first time since 2005 that Arlington Martin has missed the playoffs, but Coach Chad Rives is confident the senior class, headlined by Ford (6'5, 245), will prove it was an aberration. Ford, a TCU commit, was a unanimous First Team All-District selection in 2024.

Offensive MVP: Amarean Porter (Wylie East, WR)
Porter (6'0, 160) and his younger brother, Amir, make up a wide receiver corps that Coach Marcus Gold calls "the best I've coached." Porter was a unanimous First Team All-District selection with 60 catches for 1,050 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Defensive MVP: Braylon Deal (Naaman Forest, SS)
Deal (6'4, 175), the younger brother of TCU defensive linemen Devean and Markis Deal, was a First Team All-District wide receiver with 855 yards and 10 touchdowns. The junior starts on both sides of the ball, and DCTF projects him as the District's Defensive MVP after he posted 58 tackles and three interceptions last season.

Offensive MVP: Javian Osborne (Forney, RB)
Osborne, a Notre Dame commit, is the No.3-ranked running back recruit in the DCTX Hot 100 after amassing 1,239 yards and 34 total touchdowns as a junior. He and quarterback Nelson Peterson Jr. provide Forney with one of the top backfield tandems in Class 6A.
Defensive MVP: Krystin Williams (Longview, DL)
Williams (5'11, 315) is the anchor in the middle of Longview's defensive line. The First Team All-District selection had 23 tackles, 1 sack, 1 tackle for loss and a forced fumble in 2024.

Offensive MVP: Ethan Feaster (DeSoto, WR)
Feaster, a USC commit, is playing his final high school season after reclassifying to 2026. He earned unanimous First Team All-District accolades in one of Class 6A's hardest districts as a sophomore. He is the top-ranked wide receiver in the DCTX Hot 100.
Defensive MVP: KJ Ford (Duncanville, DE)
Ford (6'3 240) and Landon Barnes give Duncanville two Top 20-ranked players at both edge spots. Ford, a Florida commit, was a unanimous First Team All-District selection with 57 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and seven sacks.

Offensive MVP: Hudson Humble (Killeen Harker Heights, QB)
Humble, the son of Harker Heights head coach Mark Humble, was the District Offensive MVP as a sophomore with 2,986 passing yards and 38 touchdowns. The 6'0, 178 signal caller was one of the most impressive players in the offseason 7-on-7 circuit.
Defensive MVP: Jamarion Carlton (Temple, DL)
Carlton (6'5, 260) is the No.2-ranked defensive end in the DCTX Hot 100 and a preseason First Team All-State pick. The Baylor commit notched 57 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and five sacks in 2024.

Offensive MVP: Jack Daulton (The Woodlands, QB)
Daulton (6'2, 190) threw for 1,776 yards and 26 touchdowns and led The Woodlands with 1,261 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. The TCU commit led The Woodlands to the Division 1 Texas 7-on-7 State Championship this summer.
Defensive MVP: Jermaine Bishop (Willis, ATH)
Bishop (6'0, 165), the No.5-ranked player in the DCTX Hot 100, is the state's best two-way player. While he racked up 1,965 all-purpose yards on offense, we're picking him as the defensive MVP for his secondary prowess.

Offensive MVP: Malachi Augustus (Aldine Nimitz, WR)
Augustus (6'0, 186) and QB Albert Brown connected on 14 touchdowns last season and look for more in 2025. The wide receiver was named to the Houston Touchdown Club's All-Preseason Team.
Defensive MVP: DeMarcus Marks (Spring Westfield, DE)
Marks (6'4, 215) is a long and lean pass rusher with elite leverage. The Texas Tech commit will help Spring Westfield defend their district championship.

Offensive MVP: Braydon Schoggin (Klein Collins, QB)
Schoggin (6'0, 180) is a dual-threat with 1,810 passing yards and 16 passing touchdowns and 1,248 rushing yards and 21 rushing touchdowns. He piloted Klein Collins to a regional semifinal appearance after an 0–3 start.
Defensive MVP: Zack Ruysenaars (Klein Oak, LB)
Coach Brandon Carpenter describes the junior Ruysenaars (6'0, 200) as the "unquestioned leader of the defense." Last year, Ruysenaars was a First Team All-District selection with 117 tackles and 13 tackles for loss.

Offensive MVP: Kash Schwab (Bridgeland, RB)
Schwab (6'0,185) earned First Team All-District honors as a sophomore with 1,668 yards on 9.37 yards per carry. He's also a threat in the passing game with 355 receiving yards.
Defensive MVP: Calvin Thomas (Cy Ranch, LB)
Thomas runs a 38-second 300m hurdle and 48-second 400m dash at 6'3, 210 pounds. The UNC commit was a First Team All-District selection in 2024 with 72 tackles, eight tackles for loss, seven sacks and a pick six. He is the leader of Cy Ranch's linebacker corps, which was ranked the best in Class 6A by DCTX.

Offensive MVP: Davis Kendall (Houston Stratford, RB)
Davis (5'8, 175) is Stratford's returning leading rusher with 551 yards and six touchdowns. But Coach Todd Rankin expects even bigger things from the Air Force commit after a fantastic offseason.
Defensive MVP: Kaden McCarty (Cy Falls, DL)
McCarty (6'2, 220), was a First Team All-District selection as a sophomore with 59 tackles, 24 tackles for loss and 11 sacks. He is the top returner for a Cy Falls team that went 9–3 with a district championship.

Offensive MVP: Kobe Miles (Houston Heights, QB)
Miles (6'0, 182) took over halfway through the season as a sophomore and threw for 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns. He and WR Kaden Cole look to lead Heights into the area round of the playoffs for the fourth straight year.
Defensive MVP: Robert McFarland (Houston Lamar, DB)
Coach Michael Lindsey describes McFarland (5'10, 200) as a ballhawking playmaker, evidenced by his 37 tackles, six pass breakups, three interceptions and two forced fumbles. The Sam Houston commit was a First Team All-District selection in 2024.

Offensive MVP: Ethan Meadows (Katy Tompkins, RB)
Meadows (5'11, 185) was the District Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore with 1,316 yards and 22 touchdowns. Meadows has 4.4 40-yard dash explosiveness.

Defensive MVP: Jeremiah Smith (Katy, LB)
Smith (6'1, 210), a Louisiana Tech commit, is a three-year starter and two-time First Team All-District selection in Coach Gary Joseph's vaunted defense. He finished 2024 with 66 tackles, eight tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and 3.5 sacks.

Offensive MVP: John Hebert (Strake Jesuit, RB)
Last year, Hebert, a Houston commit, became one of four Houston-area players since 2000 to record over 3,000 rushing yards, finishing with 3,532 yards and 40 touchdowns.
Defensive MVP: Reilarean Phillips (Alief Elsik, LB)
Phillips (6'2, 205), a Tulsa commit, was a First Team All-District selection at outside linebacker with 65 tackles and nine tackles for loss. He was a critical factor in Alief Elsik making the playoffs for the first time in 10 years.

Offensive MVP: Saxon Gumabong (Fort Bend Elkins, WR)
Gumabong (5'9, 150) was a First Team All-District selection with 43 receptions for 941 yards and nine touchdowns. He is a threat to take the top off the defense any time he touches the ball.
Defensive MVP: Devyn Phillip (Fort Bend Hightower, DE)
Phillip (6'2, 210) is one of just two starters back on defense for Hightower. He was a First Team All-District selection with 48 tackles, 21 tackles for loss and 12.5 sacks.

Offensive MVP: Chris Stewart (Alvin Shadow Creek, WR)
Stewart (6'0, 180), a Texas commit, and his brother Carter, a defensive back committed to Utah, are Shadow Creek's senior leaders. Chris was the District's Offensive MVP with 60 catches for 922 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Defensive MVP: Jaylen Stewart (Pearland, DE)
Pearland's defense returns six starters along its front seven. Stewart (6'3, 225), an Illinois commit, was a First Team All-District selection with 65 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and 10 sacks.

Offensive MVP: Cardae Mack (Humble Atascocita, RB)
Mack (5'11, 210), an Arizona State commit, was the District's Overall MVP as a quarterback last season but will switch to running back, his future college position, as a senior. He had 1,918 yards and 22 touchdowns on the ground.
Defensive MVP: Amontre Harris (Humble Summer Creek, DE)
Summer Creek said goodbye to TCU signee Chad Woodfork, but SMU commit Amontre Harris (6'4, 220) returns off the edge after totaling 59 tackles, 16 tackles for loss 10 sacks and four forced fumbles.

Offensive MVP: Malachi Gamble (Dickinson, RB)
Gamble (5'9, 180) was the District Overall MVP last season with 1,529 yards and 23 touchdowns. He'll benefit from the healthy return of fellow running back Jamal Mason, giving Dickinson a 1-2 punch.
Defensive MVP: Preston Pitts (Clear Falls, LB)
Pitts (6'4, 215), a Utah commit, is the next DI linebacker recruit out of Clear Falls. He had 116 tackles, 27 tackles for loss and nine sacks in just 11 games as a junior, earning unanimous First Team All-District outside linebacker.

Offensive MVP: Miles Teodecki (Austin Vandegrift, QB)
Teodecki (6'3, 215), a Kansas State commit, led Austin Vandegrift to its first state championship in program history in his first year as the starter. The lefty gunslinger is the preseason First Team All-State quarterback pick after throwing for 3,256 yards and 48 touchdowns.
Defensive MVP: Israel Lawrence (Manor, DB)
Austi Vandegrift linebacker CJ Mooring was the pick in Dave Campbell's TexasFootball magazine, but he moved to Conroe after his father, Isaac, took a coaching job with Sam Houston. Manor senior safety Israel Lawrence (5'10, 180) is the new pick. Lawrence is a two-time All-District performer who tallied 51 tackles and five pass breakups last year.

Offensive MVP: Rees Wise (Austin Westlake, QB)
Wise (6'2, 205), an Ole Miss commit, enters his third year as the starter. He was a First Team All-District selection in 2024 with 2,598 passing yards and 23 touchdowns. He's also Westlake returning rushing leader with 464 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns.
Defensive MVP: Carter Buck (Lake Travis, DL)
Buck (6'6, 245) was the District's Defensive Lineman of the Year with 80 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and seven sacks. The TCU commit is one of two future Power Four players (Ben Duncum, Kentucky) on Lake Travis's defensive line.

Offensive MVP: Elvis Estrada (San Antonio Johnson, QB)
Estrada (6'0, 185) attempts to lead San Antonio Johnson to its first back-to-back district championship run in school history. The junior finished with a district-best 2,146 passing yards and 22 touchdowns last season on a 70 percent completion rate.
Defensive MVP: Cole Higby (San Antonio Reagan, LB)
Higby (6'4, 205) was a unanimous First Team All-District linebacker selection with 77 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble. The Army commit will be a key leader in new head coach Preston Meyer's transition from defensive coordinator.

Offensive MVP: Aldric Trotter (San Antonio Harlan, QB)
Trotter (5'11, 180) was a unanimous First Team All-District quarterback selection in 2024 after throwing for 2,500 yards and 25 touchdowns. Coach Eddie Salas calls Trotter, "one of the most elusive players I've coached," evidenced by his 930 rushing yards. He and running back G'Ivori Graham led Harlan to their deepest playoff run in school history last season (12–2).

Defensive MVP: Timothy Cummings (San Antonio Brennan, LB/DB)
Coach Stephen Basore describes hybrid OLB/SS Cummings (5'10, 180) as a, "very intelligent, playmaking defender on the edge." Cummings was a unanimous First Team All-District selection with 85 tackles, 30 tackles for loss and a sack.

Offensive MVP: Jonathan Hatton (Cibolo Steele, RB)
Hatton (6'1, 215), a Texas A&M commit, is the No.4-ranked running back in the DCTX Hot 100 after rushing for 1,225 yards on 9.1 yards per carry. He'll be the offensive leader after Cibolo Steele said goodbye to QB Chad Warner, the area's all-time passing leader.
Defensive MVP: Luke Bell (New Braunfels Canyon, DB)
Coach Sean McAuliffe is ecstatic to get Bell back after the senior played in just three games last season. The Texas Tech cornerback commit still managed had 37 tackles, two pass breakups and two forced fumbles in limited action.

Offensive MVP: Jorge Luna (Laredo United, QB)
Luna (6'0, 175) and wide receiver Colt Lozano look to lead Laredo United to a third straight outright district championship. Luna passed for 2,256 yards and 25 touchdowns in 2024.
Defensive MVP: Hector Benavides (Laredo Alexander, DB)
Benavides (6'0, 175) racked up 106 tackles, six tackles for loss, three interceptions and three forced fumbles. The senior leads a group of three year starters who're hungry for a district championship after finishing second the last two years.

Offensive MVP: Chris Luna (Weslaco, ATH)
Luna (5'5, 145) was named The Monitor's All-Area Utility Player of the Year as a wide receiver and return specialist. He caught 65 passes for 1,044 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Defensive MVP: Woodrow Villarreal (Edinburg, LB)
Villarral (5'10, 170) headlines Edinburg's 18 returning starters. He had 96 total tackles and should be the defensive lynchpin for new head coach Joey Pena.

Offensive MVP: Robert Pineda (Los Fresnos, QB)
Pineda (5'10, 160) is a four-year starter who earned unanimous District MVP last season with 1,720 passing yards and 22 touchdowns, along with 1,388 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns.
Defensive MVP: Victor Rodriguez (San Benito, DL)
Rodriguez was named District Defensive Lineman of the Year with 75 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and five sacks.
