Richmond Randle 2027 RB Landen Williams-Callis (5'7, 170) is already one the nation's most heavily offered prospects in the 2027 cycle.  

"It's been going good," Williams-Callis said. "I've just been having fun with it I don't take it to heart. I don't know which ones I like the most, but it's fun."

Growing up with relatives who are Oregon State running back legends Jacquizz and James Rodgers, Williams-Callis naturally followed the Beavers, but his game is being compared to another Pac-12 legend.

"They say I'm like Reggie Bush. I've watched his tape at USC and liked it." 

Williams-Callis is just getting started with the recruiting process and will schedule some more college visits in the future, but he made a special memory in Tuscaloosa when he picked up a scholarship from Nick Saban. 

"When I went to the Alabama camp and balled out, and I got the offer, that was like my favorite (moment)," Williams-Callis recalled. "(Nick) Saban was still there. I was in his office. That was cool, I ain't going to lie."

Williams-Callis explained that he has made early connections with Baylor Running Backs Coach Khenon Hall and Texas Running Backs Coach Tashard Choice. 

"I want to visit UT for sure," Williams-Callis said from the steps of Mike A Myers Stadium at the UIL State Track Meet. "I love the atmosphere (here)." 

Despite having received a large number of offers already, he remains open to exploring potential opportunities with other programs that have yet to offer, namely Washington and LSU.

"I really want LSU," Williams-Callis confirmed. 

Williams-Callis rushed for 1,946 yards and 27 total touchdowns to be named to Dave Campbell's Texas Football Rising magazine's 2027 Top 25 list as a freshman in 2023.

Randle posted an 11-2 record and advanced to the third round of the Texas high school football playoffs. 

"I love the school," Williams-Callis said. "It is like home. We treat each other like family. This year, we got something coming."
