Cibolo Steele 2025 WR Royal Capell (5'10, 170) is one of the top recruits in Texas, with offers from coast to coast.
"I have 16 Division One offers right now, with some of the newest being North Texas and Indiana," Capell said.
"My first offer was Grambling; that was a big one. Houston was another. I balled at their camp and thought I was going to get it there, but they ended up calling after during the season."
Oregon is one P5 program that has made early waves in Capell's recruitment and he was impressed with an unofficial visit to see the Ducks on gameday.
"I would also definitely say Oregon, being my first P5. That was a very good feeling," Capell said. "I went out there for a game when they played Cal. Just amazing vibes and great energy. I love it out there in Eugene."

Capell reports that programs like Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Missouri and Indiana have made strong impressions in his recruitment -- all have offered.
In-state colleges like Texas A&M and Texas are also showing interest.
"I talk to them a lot," Capell said. "I am just waiting for somebody in-state to pull the trigger."
Capell collected 59 receptions for 788 yards and five scores as a junior in 2023.
