Coming off of a remarkable 11-2 season, Frisco Panther Creek is home to several prospects who are going to be on the radars of college programs.
2024 QB Braxton Roberts (6'2, 175): Roberts had a tremendous senior season, raising his profile, and should be considered one of the top uncommitted QB prospects in the state. He has picked up recent offers from Henderson State, Mary-Hardin Baylor and Hardin-Simmons, and more could follow. This year, he completed 69% of his passes for 3.705 yards and 44 total touchdowns to lead the Panthers to an 11-2 season and earn District MVP honors.
2025 ATH Sentel Simpson (6'4, 190): So far, Simpson has two offers from UTSA and Indiana, but you better go ahead and mark him down as one of the state's top athletes in the 2025 cycle, and I think he is about to explode with recruiting attention. He reminds me a lot of former Southlake Carroll standout Lil'Jordan Humphrey, and like Humphrey, he is a standout running back with unusual height and athketicism. His skills could translate to several positions at the next level, and he boasts a defensive mindset and enjoys the physical nature of defense. Still, his leaping ability and overall athleticism are equally valuable on the offensive side.
Update: Texas State became Simpson's third offer today.
2026 S Donovan Webb (6'0, 175): Webb will be one of the country's most highly sought-after defensive backs when he inks a letter of intent. He had a breakout sophomore season, showcasing tremendous man coverage skills and the ability to disrupt the flow of the game in pass coverage. As the year progressed, he stepped up in a big way as a tackler and started to enforce his presence as a big hitter. All in all, he collected 109 tackles and four interceptions. His first offer came in recently from Baylor, but don't be shocked when his offer list takes off. His highlight tape is legit.
Update: Texas State became Webb's second offer today.
2025 WR Cristian Trickett (6'0, 160): It did not take long for Trickett to make an impact this season as he was nominated as the Mr. Texas Football Player of the Week after collecting eight catches for 233 yards and four touchdowns in a week one 48-7 win over Frisco Independence. Trickett had a remarkable season, securing 59 receptions for 1,401 yards and 24 touchdowns to earn 7-4A Division I all-district honors.
2026 WR Parker Ord (6'3, 190): Ord was named the District Newcomer of the Year after a string showing as a sophomore. He has the legit size that stands out instantly, and he has a college football pedigree, as his father and uncle played quarterback at BYU.
Other Names to Know: 2025 S/RB Seth Jackson (5'9, 180), 2025 OL C.J. Baker (6'2, 295), 2026 WR Ace Traylor (5'9, 155), 2026 DE Liam Egert (6'1, 205)
