Multiple reports suggest that Texas’ first season in the SEC will feature some of the conference’s heavyweights.

Chip Brown of 247Sports first reported that Texas’ 2024 schedule will feature away games at Texas A&M and Arkansas, renewing the Lone Star Showdown and Southwest Conference rivalry with both programs. The report also says that Texas will host 2022 national champion Georgia and a non-conference game at Michigan.

The Red River Rivalry will continue to be played at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
