DCTF Hot 100 Safety Announces Move from C.E. King to North Shore

DCTF three-star S LaVonte Johnson (6'3, 180) announced on social media that he has left Sheldon C.E. King and is now attending Galena Park North Shore

"After many days and nights of trying to come to a decision as a family, I have decided to transfer to North Shore Sr High School for the remaining of my junior year on to my senior year of high school," Johnson posted.

Johnson checks in at No. 85 in the 2024 DCTF RISING Hot 100. He has earned scholarship offers from Arizona State, Houston, Kansas State, Nebraska, North Texas, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Purdue, SMU, Texas State, Texas Tech, UTSA and more.

Johnson collected 41 tackles and 14 PBUs to earn honorable mention all-district honors as a junior at C.E. King.
