Converse Judson DT Johnny Bowens (6'3, 265) committed to Oregon over Texas A&M.
Bowens is rated as the No. 20 prospect in the DCTF Hot 100, checking in as the No. 3 DT prospect.
Next Level Athlete Scouting Report: Bowens is an impressive physical specimen with a defensive end's quickness and the size and power of a defensive tackle. He has been a disruptive force in the Judson defense, consistently using his strength to overpower offensive linemen.

Lubbock Cooper 2024 OL Holton Hendrix (6'4, 250) committed to Texas Tech over Baylor, Houston and Kansas offers.
"The recruiting process has been a great experience and I sincerely appreciate all of the coaches who put time into evaluating and recruiting me. With that being said, I will be taking my talents down the street to Texas Tech University," Hendrix exclaimed.
Hendrix is the fourth commitment for Joey McGuire and The Red Raiders in the 2024 cycle, joining Shallowater OL Kasen Long, Hawley WR Chandlin Myers, and Madisonville ATH Lorenzo Johnson.

Denton Guyer 2023 S Peyton Bowen (6'0, 185) continues to move up the DCTF rankings ladder and is now rated as the No. 10 prospect in the state.
Bowen maintains his status as the No. 1 rated safety prospect.
The four-star prospect is verbally committed to Notre Dame, but Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma are aggressively pursuing him.
