Taylor ISD started up their interview process for the vacant head coach position at Taylor High School on Thursday.
Seven candidates were brought in for an hour each to meet with the hiring committee. Candidates include two Central Texas head coaches, a head coach in the Austin area, a current head coach on the Coastal Bend a couple of coordinators in the Austin area and a former Central Texas head coach.
Sources indicate on Friday that field will be narrowed down to two finalists.
