The first 7-on-7 State Qualifying Tournament (SQT) of the year has been cancelled, per the Texas 7-on-7 Board of Directors.
The Frisco SQT was scheduled for April 25 at The Star. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the State 7-on-7 board decided to go ahead and cancel the qualifier.
There’s no word at this point if the SQT season will proceed this summer as things are very fluid with the pandemic. The next SQT is set for May 9 in Lorena.
