Ronnie “Bo” Lee was a three-sport star at Tyler John Tyler. He was a member of the Lions 15-0 state championship team in 1973 and caught two touchdowns in the semi-final game. As a senior he earned numerous honors including All-District, All-East Texas, All-State and was on the Blue Chip All-America team. He was also selected to play in the 1975 THSCA All-Star Game. At Baylor he played tight end and lettered from 1975-1978. He made the All-SWC team in 1975 and 1976 and was the 1975 SWC Freshman of the Year. Lee played in the 1978 Hula and Senior Bowls before joining the NFL. He played tight end, tackle and guard with the Miami Dolphins (1979-1982, 1984-1989), Atlanta Falcons (1983) and Seattle Seahawks (1990-1992). Lee played in two Super Bowls with the Dolphins and was Miami’s 1990 Offensive lineman of the year. He is one of the few players in NFL history to start at three different positions.
