Jack Pardee began his fabulous career playing six-man football at Christoval High. Pardee was 6-feet-2 and 210 pounds in high school and scored 57 touchdowns his senior year. Against Fort Davis in the regional championship game Pardee scored nine touchdowns in an 80-52 victory for Christoval. At Texas A&M, Pardee earned All-SWC and All-America honors at running back in 1956, his senior season. Pardee played linebacker in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams (1957-1964, 1966-1970) and Washington Redskins (1971-1972). He was also head coach of the Chicago Bears (1975-1977), Washington Redskins (1978-1979) University of Houston (1987-1989) and Houston Oilers (1990-1994). He died on April 1, 2013, at age 76.
