Magnolia 2024 ATH Hunter Andrews (6'2, 215) is among the newest DCTF RISING Hot 100 members.
The long-time Utah commitment got some big news on the recruiting trail this week as well when he secured an in-state offer from Texas A&M.
Andrews, who could be a multi-faceted offensive weapon at the next level, visited College Station for the win over South Carolina.
Commit of the Week
Beaumont United 2024 OT Weston Davis (6'4, 285) flipped his commitment from Texas A&M to LSU.
Davis is rated as a DCTF four-star prospect, checking in as the No. 2 OT in Texas.
Texan Live - Underclassman of the Week
DeSoto 2025 WR Daylon Singleton (5'10, 165) set the tone for a DeSoto offense that knocked off No. 1 Duncanville 49-35.
Singleton collected six receptions for 179 yards and two touchdowns and returned a kick for a score.
Singleton is rated as a DCTF four-star and is committed to SMU.
Recruit of the Week
Hutto 2024 WR Alex Green (5'11, 180) racked up ten receptions for 365 yards and four touchdowns in a season-saving 66-63 win over Bryan.
The 365 yards tied him for sixth all-time on the TXHSFB single-game receiving yards list, and with 1,874 yards, he is creeping up on the Top 10 for the single-season receiving yards list.
Opportunity followed his big performance as he secured Northwestern, Ball State and Toledo offers.
Green is rated as a DCTF three-star prospect.
