Dallas Skyline 2025 LB Elijah "Bo" Barnes (6'2, 220) committed to Texas over Texas A&M, Alabama, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oregon and more.

Barnes collected 65 tackles, 12 TFLs, three sacks, four INTs and six forced fumbles to earn first-team 11-6A all-district honors.

Barnes is rated as the No. 18 prospect in the 2025 DCTF RISING Hot 100 and the No. 2 OLB prospect in the state.

Scouting Report: Barnes is a defensive force with experience playing ILB and OLB. He is a dangerous and impactful blitzer and a sure tackler. It's easy to see why every top program in the country was chasing him and his style of play should fit perfectly in the SEC.

"I'm bringing everything I have with my athletic ability, and I'm bringing everything I have every single day," Barnes said. "I'm just going to play hard, and it's going to show."

Barnes plays in a legendary Dallas Skyline program, producing other Texas Longhorns like S Christian Scottt, WR Mike Davis, LB Peter Jinkens (the current LB coach at Dallas Skyline) and LB Anthony Wheeler.
