Frisco Emerson 2025 DB Maliek Hawkins (6'2, 180) will announce his college commitment during a Special LIVE Commitment Ceremony at Dave Campbell's Texas Football studio in Lewisville on April 10th at 12:00 p.m. CST.

Hawkins has announced that he will choose between five programs: Texas, Texas State, Arkansas, Mississippi State and Oklahoma.
Hawkins is rated as the No. 75 overall prospect in the DCTF RISING 2025 Hot 100 and was named the DB MVP at the Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase in Dallas.
As a junior in 2023, the DCTF three-star helped lead Emerson to a 12-3 record.
Hawkins is the son of former Oklahoma cornerback Mike Hawkins and the brother of current Oklahoma quarterback Michael Hawkins Jr.
