Three Key Additions
Who were the highest-rated signees or prospects who might come in and make a significant impact?
WR Micah Hudson (6'0, 190) - Lake Belton: The No. 1 player in the state regardless of position. The five-star is known for his exceptional speed, agility, and route-running. Hudson possesses strong hands and ball-tracking skills, excelling at contested catches. His acceleration after the catch, open-field elusiveness, and high football IQ make him the state's most college-ready receiver, and he will have an immediate roster impact.
QB Will Hammond (6'2, 205) - Hutto: The No. 4 QB in the state was a Mr. Texas Football Player of the Year finalist after racking up 5,004 yards of offense and 48 touchdowns in 10 games. Yes, that is an average of over 500 yards per game! Hammond was an Elite 11 finalist who picked the Red Raiders over many national-level offers. His dual-threat capability will enhance the QB room in Lubbock.
OT Ellis Davis (6'5, 285) - Prosper: The DCTF four-star OT has remarkable footwork for his size, navigating through traffic swiftly while maintaining a low center of gravity. His proficiency shines as a run blocker, yet his promising frame and athletic prowess suggest a potential for growth as a pass blocker. It's a longshot to project a year-one impact from an OT, but Davis' signing should be noticed.

His versatility spans from tackle to center, promising a swift transition into any offensive line position at the next level. Abundant varsity experience and solid assignment understanding make him an early contributor contender.
